Well...there is not much to report on that front! But I thought since it had been over 2 months since my last post, that I would try. Most everyone has been e-mailed at this point, but here we go anyway! =)
Will and I have been doing well. Both of us have taken a break from the insurance business for awhile. Will is doing that very part time and working his previous job semi-full time. Since the work at the Brokerage has trickled off to virtually nothing, I have taken up looking for a new job. It feels like I have been searching for months, eventhough it has only been 2 1/2 weeks. I have a job working at a Private school right up the street from our home. However, it doesn't start unitl mid-August. So until then, I am hoping that I will be able to get something else going.
Church is going well. I attended Young Women Camp back in June. That was one of the best week's of my life. Despite the no shower allowed policy for the ENTIRE time we were up there. I had a blast. I have been so blessed with such a wonderful group of girls. We are not without our faults however! There were a few "issues," but only a few and they were all quickly resolved, by the girls themselves. One of the coolest experiences I had while at camp was at night. The tradition was started last year by my Ward's old YW President. It is called the singing tree. Each night, each Ward brings flashlights to a tree they choose. One by one each Ward turns on their lights and flashes them up the tree. Then that Ward sings a song. They then turn off their lights, and the next Ward does the same thing. The last Ward to sing turns their lights off, then turns them back on, along with all the Ward's. We then sing the last Ward's song all together. That was and is the most spiritual experience I think I have ever had. It made me ball like a baby every night. Being in God's creation, singing his songs of praise, was amazing. I will never foget that as long as I live.
Will has been coming to Church every Sunday now for a month and a half. He gets up every Sunday and attends Choir practice as well. It is such a good feeling to have him their with me every Sabbath. I am greaful that he is willing to come and supports me in my endeavors as well.
I also had the "privelage" of attending Stake Youth Conference, overnighter, on July 11th & 12th. That was an interesting experience. We had to share a cabin with 2 other Ward's. That was very trying at times. Especially at 2 o'clock in the morning when they were still laughing and talking loudly!!!! I actually got sick at the outing. That was also very fun! =) Nevertheless, I am still glad that I went. We had a good time.
Will and I are celebrating our 6th Year Anniversary this month on the 27th! I can hardly believe that it has almost been 6 years! It trulley does not seem that long at all! It feels like we were nervous and walking down the aisle just a year ago. We are very excited to be hitting this mark! I am so very blessed and so very greatful to have such a loving and kind husband. Will and I have been through a lot together. I would not trade it for the world. I love him now more than ever. He is my heart. We have no big plans, due to limited funds. But we are excited none the less to spend a day together laughing at memories and telling old stories.
Not much else has happened or is happening with us. Know that I love you all very much! I think of you all everyday without fail!
All My Love,
Kate
